Rageshree's great grandfather Late Shri. Sidramappa Vairagkar inherited music in Vairagkar's family. Everyone in the house used to love music. 'Shiv Bhajan' (Songs of Lord Shiva) was performed at home every day. Even the people of the village used to come to our home regularly to perform and listen Shiva Bhajan. Initially there was music in our house in the form of Bhajan. This is the tradition of my grandfather Shri. Srishailya Vairagkar took care of it.
My grandfather was very much influenced by Natyasangeet. He used to play Paay Peti well, he used to play bhajans based on the type of Natyasangeet music and later he started singing Bhajan with Paay Peti, Pakhwaj, Tabla.
Pt. Shankarrao Vairagkar

Taking note of Shankarrao ji's childhood passion for learning music, his father Shri. Srishailya Vairagkar sent him to learn classical music at Shri.Puttraj Gawai's Aashram at Gadag, Karnataka. he later learned from Shri. Padmakar Kulkarni in Pune and settled in Nashik, Maharashtra. He is not only a good vocalist but also a great guru, musician and harmonium player. He has been performing all over India from last 39 years. 'Pt. Shankarrao Vairagkar Pratishthan' in Nashik has been organising 'Guruvandana Sangeet Samaroh' in which many well known artists have performed. It also promotes classical music through various activities such as monthly music mehfils, competition and encourages students and emerging artists.
Shri. Jagdev Vairagkar

Rageshree's uncle Pt. Shankarrao Vairagkar was going on with his riyaz at home. Inspired from the elder brother, Shri. Jagdev Vairagkar decided to follow the footsteps and devote his life to classical music. He started learning music from his elder brother Pt. Shankarrao Vairagkar. he mastered not only in singing but also in harmonium and tabla. Like his brother, he started teaching music to many students by carrying out the work of enlightment and spreading the love classical music. Rageshree's father Shri. Jagdev Vairagkar is also a great music composer. He is the music director of dance drama 'Radhika Aali Angani' and a musical drama 'Sangeet Chandrapriya'. The petriotic songs he composed have been aired many time on All India Radio (AIR). He has been performing in prestgious concerts and received many awards.
Smt. Gayatri Joshi

A promising vocalist of the young generation, Gayatri Josh 'is the singer to watch in the forthcoming years. A melodious voice with a powerful focus, tunefulness, command of rhythm and a sizeable repertoire of commen and uncommen Raaga's are some of the highlights of her singing. Her concerts are marked by chaste exposition of a raaga structure, aesthetic phrasing, volleys of crisp and complex taans and in general, an artistic approach to the presentation. Apart from classical singing, she is equally adept at semi classical genres like thumari, dadra, Bhajan marathi theater song (natyageet) and so on. Gayatri was born in an artiste's family and music is in her blood. She was initiated into the art of singing by her father Shri. Shankar Shreeshaillya Vairagkar, an accomplished vocalist, a disciple of Pt. Padmakar Kulkarni. She has received advanced training from Smt. Arati Ankalikar Tikekar of the Agra Jaipur Gharana. All these influences have obviously honed her skills and widened her horizons. Formally, she holds a 'Sangeet Alankar' degree from Akhil Bharatiya Gandhary Mahavidyalaya, MA in music from the university of Pune. She has presented her art at several prestigious platforms and has won a number of awards during her musical career.
